So I am trying to enter a profession which has traditionally been dominated by women (librarian).

I am more than qualified and have the relevant experience for the job. The simple fact is that I know it is dominated by women and they don’t want a man working there.

It is quite frustrating as I feel I would do some good there (I am not the smartest or best person but I am quite good at dealing with people.

I certainly don’t hate women but I think it is very poor that a profession can restrict who can enter just because of their gender.
