To get the context out of the way, against my better judgement, I asked out the cute intern in my office. While foolish, i'm proud of myself for doing it.

So we go on a date and due to my emotional over-investment, nerves and inexperience... it kinda fell flat and didnt go anywhere. It humbled me and i needed a day off to get over it. I learnt a lot from the experience and it's motivated me to improve myself.

Now back at the office, i'm back to my usual happy, eccentric self. The girl in question is being really awkward - not interested in talking, making eye contact... and especially doesn't like me teasing her. My question is "what can i do to help reduce this awkwardness between us?" or even should I? Would it be best if i just ignore her as much as possible?

Was considering just calling her out on it with a simple "I feel things have gotten awkward; i don't like it", but wondered what you guys think. Thanks.
