why does pro choice not include like fathers rights to not want to raise a baby.
In my opinion a consent to sex is not consent to a baby and its not fair to assume anyone who just has sex with you, will also want a baby with you .
I think about that reddit post that went viral about the bf who made his gf keep the baby and then she left him and only paid child support and everyone was like yass queen.
But with my situation, my bf decided to not be in his child’s life from a one night stand where he wore a condom and bought her a plan b and delivered it to her door (in case of condom breaks). He was then not made aware of her pregnancy for 7months and then randomly told his family before him (they went to his house post hook up to smoke) and now everyone is saying he is an awful person.
But he had no option to get an abortion. He did everything he could to not get her pregnant, and now i feel like everyone is unfairly judging him for not wanting to be in the kids life but he would have chosen an abortion.
And yeah, if you go tell anyone else they’re gonna be like well he should’ve got a vasectomy, but I vasectomy is not always 100% reversible, and me and him do want children . Just not right now.
i do not think he should have pressured her to get an abortion at all. But i think she should of asked him about his involvement before 7 months so she could make a decision for her life moving forward.
I just want to hear yalls opinions on the matter of men’s birth control options / pro chocie options(not about my bfs decision)
