I often see men complain about how women choose the guy who gives them the tingles, prioritizing sexual attraction over everything else.
My question is, would it be fair the other way around.
Lets say women, individually and as a whole, started pairing up with men they weren't physically attracted to.
Firstly, they won't be happy. But a lot of men who complain about women's preferences don't really care if she's happy anyway. But most importantly, secondly, she will subconciously treat you like somebody she isn't attracted to. She'll not "love you" the same way as somebody she's attracted to. She'll literally either feel repulsed at sex with you at worst, or deal with it by thinking of somebody else during your lacklustre and infrequent moments of intimacy at best.
The relationship will be a forced friendship at best, a depressive nightmare at worst.
When men complain about women only going for guys they're attracted to, they're not considering the miserable alternative.
You think just because she's engaged her brain and gone "Right, this is rationally on paper the best guy for me, he's a nice guy, hasn't had much sex, will be loyal and highly invested in me, great at 21st century white collar office jobs like filling in excel, etc etc" that she's going to treat you like a guy she actually LOVES? She's not.
BEST case scenario is she'll treat you like family, a good friend, whilst internally being unfulfilled sexually.
You can't LITERALLY demand women CHOOSE to find unattractive men attractive...That's actually ridiculous....
"Women, just BE attracted to me, because that other guy who gives you tingles is no good. You should DECIDE to want me instead."
Well good luck with that. Do you know what you're actually asking?
So why would it be fair for a woman to do that to you? She's giving you scraps of what a relationship should be, and you're tying her down to either a life of dull misery or infidelity if she just can't bear it for too long.
A bad deal for everyone.
Women should ONLY date men they're attracted to.
