Hi guys. I have a male friend who is being flat out brutalized by his wife. I’m talking physical and psychological abuse.

She keeps threatening to call the cops on him for any or no reason (no, he hasn’t ever hit her- she’s so tiny that he would really injure her if he so much as raised a hand to her). She also threatens to have him deported (he’s Pakistani, she’s Anglo-Canadian, and his residency is dependant on their marriage.

And, tiny or not she hits him with metal spatulas and shit lying around the house and gouges bleeding lines out of his ear, neck, and shoulders.

Anyway he needs to get out of there ASAP, and He’s deathly allergic to my cats and can’t stay with me…

So, I’m trying to find a shelter for him to go to.

We are currently in Vancouver; anyone know a place?
