Anyone who wants to can look at my post history and see how fucked up I am if they want.

I'm in my early 30s and recently got out of the military. I Am working towards getting a new career and am back in school. I already have a bachelor's degree. My physical fitness and looks are not remotely an issue so the first part of my strategy list has more to do with organization and doing what I need to build a new career at my age.

  1. Making a daily list and actively prioritize doing what is important before anything else. I have a problem with discipline as far as this goes.

  2. Setting up a good linkedin profile and making connections with those in the field I hope to pursue as well as using the VA or other connections for paid or unpaid internships.

  3. Devoting a couple of hours a day to learning skills in my field and building personal projects unrelated to school in order to gain hands on experience.

  4. Creating a list of long term goals.

  5. Devoting some time to writing once all else is done.

I have problems with discipline regarding following a list and schedule and I am prone to cynicism, depression, and negativity. I am also an introvert so I realize this can make things more challenging.

Any advice or improvements to the first part of my plan are appreciated.

The second list relates to meeting and dating women.

  1. Tinder

  2. Going out alone or with people to a bar one night a week and approaching and talking to at least one woman.

  3. Working on making eye contact with and smiling when I interact with women throughout my day or week. Being aware of my anxiety and body language.

Any other advice or criticisms are appreciated. I plan on just taking small steps to start.

Is it a good idea to not read or post too much on TRP until I succeed at following this strategy? I am aware of the importance of actualizing vs theorizing and reading.
