Unless she's willing to commit to working with a good counselor, you should move on. If she was molested by these men and is still willing to sit down to dinner with them, then she has internalized some extreme dis-function. This stuff is almost certain to manifest itself in so many weird horrific ways in the future, and your are going to have a stunned confused look on your face mumbling something to the tune " but I was the good guy" or some similar sentimentality.

Just to be clear there's no scenario here where you are some sort of heroic avatar of justice. Either the family knows about it and has quashed it, or they don't know about and when it comes a significant portion of the family decides to kill the messenger.

What is your actual history with this girl, yall been together weeks, months, or days. Sans extensive therapy most sexual abuse victims aren't LTR material, there is simply too much damage.

I've literally never asked a girl if shes ever been molested/raped/sexually abused and had the answer be "no."

Mind you that's a sample size of about 6 or 7 through out my dating life, too small to mean anything, obviously. Just sharing my life experience.

I've learned the ones you really need to watch out for are the ones who you don't need to ask for them to want to tell you allllllll about the abuse in their past.

Was she raped or molested, there is a big difference, because she will decide how much it hurt her , not you, let her decide how she feels.

My Ex GF was molested by her bother, and she said she didn't want me to tell because she didn't want to get him in trouble.

My current GF was muscle by her uncle, she said he went down on her while she was asleep, and that frighted her so much she ran into the room and never told anyone.

She downplayed it by saying it wasn't as bad as what some girls go though.

My advice is don't be a hero in this case, unless you are planning to tear a family apart(FOR VERY GOOD REASONS), but you have to testify , she will have to testify, you will have to remain strong throughout everything.

I know it's fucked up, and rape like this is right near violent rape IMO... However, this is her decision. Don't be a white knight. She needs soft counseling if she's actually experience PTSD from it. However, in my personal experience, making this thing a legal issue just makes it worse for the woman. It'll blow up, the whole family will be talking about it, and she'll have a huge spotlight on a part of her life she's trying to forget.

If need be, you can always go old school. Just find the uncle and give him a good ass kicking, and let him know what it was for. He wont tell anyone, the family wont explode into a political nightmare, and your GF wont have to reopen that wound.
