Am I the only one who understands when men get “insecure” about his wife/girlfriend using toys in the bedroom (especially vibrators or large dildos)? I’ve never had a woman whip out a womanizer 3000 dildo with 25 functions and LEDs on me, but I get why some dudes are apprehensive about it. This is a device that does something you just can’t compete with, I can see why a man would feel inadequate.

I bet that most men (especially the open-minded Redditors) aren’t actually 100% on-board with their partners using toys in the bedroom. They don’t want to be labeled as insecure so they embrace the toys as “teammates”. He’s getting to have sex and enjoys the fact that his partner is getting off with the assistance of toys. That’s great (and way better than your lady not getting off at all), but ideally they wouldn’t be needed in the first place. Like, it’s awesome that your partner is cumming, and it’s better that she finishes than not, but there still has to be that feeling that you’re not enough.

To clarify, there is nothing wrong with using sex toys. It just bothers me to see men get lambasted for being uncomfortable with a cumbersome (usually) toy being brought into the bedroom. Every time there is a post about a girl’s bf being uncomfortable with sex toys, he gets ripped on. If you’re a couple that truly enjoys toys being used to spice things up in the bedroom, then more power to you. On the other hand, if a dude is uncomfortable with it, then that’s alright as well.
