Quite new to reddit and looked around those "gender reversals". Found this post from 4 years ago. (link at the bottom)

I think men have right by themselves and should not only gain relative to women. Men and women will always be different and men will never have reproductive rights.

Moreover i think we should advance men rights and while toxic femininity is tangential to mens issues, because abuse often target men, we should not focus on toxic femininity or we would risk becoming like feminists who focus on the denigration of masculinity.

While a peculiary egregious double standard could be highligted for shock value, if it is not in relation with a platable injustice, it would fail to stress the issues by itself or advance men rights.

"All genital mutilation should be banned" is a statement strong enough by itself and carry implicitely the comparaison. Talking about FGM as a comparaison risk to raise psychological defenses and make our message less audible.

There are other things that bother me with the recent compairaisons between FGM and MGM, but i cannot exactly understand what it is.

All that being said, i find interesting to have a sub for mens right. For lashing out against female toxicity, there is r/nicegirls or r/pussypass "
