What's the best way to tell a story or opinion?

So what is the best way to do so and make all the group listen and get interested?

Are there any key steps like proper eye contact, pauses, moving your arms..?

It's not that I get interrumped if I am trying to tell a mid-long story but more like some might lose the interest and draw their attention to somewhere else.
