After discovering TRD and RPW i have an honest question. What happened to just being in a relationship with someone you love, trust, and get along with? Whats with the "strategies" and "rules"?

We aren't angry, or if we come across as angry, it's simply because even when we stay in our sub(s) with people that think the same way as we do - we still end up with people coming in and either claiming to just be 'curious' when they actually have an agenda, or they will simply outright start trying to tell us things that we don't want to hear. Why do they do this? I don't know. We get ample amounts of nonsense every other place on reddit if we're silly enough to even hint at our beliefs, so you'll have to excuse us if we meet condescending remarks with a little fire.

It's simple. Men and women are biologically different. We compliment each other in a relationship, and we believe in the Captain/First Mate dynamic. We believe women should protect their sexuality and keep a low partner count. We don't defer to every man, only our SO's. No we aren't useless, abused, brainless, or incapable. No we don't have to stay at home, some of us are home-makers, other's are business owners and everything else in between.

We focus on maintaining (or acquiring) long-term relationships with a good man. We believe in being dedicated partners that look after our man's physical and emotional needs (after all, they do a lot to look after us). We believe in staying calm, remaining in control, and all around acting like an adult (emotional manipulation, hysteria, yelling, crying, or trying to withhold intimacy are all unacceptable in our eyes).

"Beta" and "Alpha" are terms for non-dominant and dominant traits. Beta men are more likely to be feminized, incapable of leading without asking a million questions and sharing at length with a female partner. They are more likely to put up with a lot of nonsense that men shouldn't (including 'open' relationships where the woman gets to sleep around but not him, or where a women forces him into a sexless relationship, or tries to manipulate him in any way). We aren't interested in equal-based relationships because we don't think they are advantageous or beneficial. Alphas on the other hand have qualities we are looking for. A good leader that is always in command. His masculinity allows women to draw near and embrace their femininity. There are several posts dealing with all these things, you could have at least bothered to read a bit more before asking every basic question across the board.

It doesn't matter if you 'get' our ways or not. Unless you are sincere about trying to understand and adopt our way of life, then perhaps it would just be best to move along. Would you ever consider going into a Feminist sub and outright saying "I don't understand you guys and your way of thinking isn't for me, but please explain what you're all about"? Probably not, and if you did the responses might not be too warm and cozy either. Wandering into a sub and saying "Hey guys, I think you're angry, trying too hard, and I really don't think your stuff makes sense" probably isn't the best way to ensure a warm reception.

I'm sorry you don't think it's valuable to cultivate loving relationships that fulfill both partners and allow them to embrace a natural dichotomy (men can be masculine and women can be feminine). I'm sorry you don't understand the value in women learning to be sexually cautious (how dare we think that sex should be something special, only saved for the few men we see as important). I'm sorry you couldn't take the time to simply look around quietly before making a post that is brief, biased/misinformed, and poorly formatted.

People have come in before you, looked around/lurked for a time and then either decided to join or move on their way. We aren't interested in 'converting' recruits unless they come in sincerely and with a willingness to learn. You aren't interested in changing, and from your writing, you don't exactly convey a willingness to alter your beliefs.

It's probably best for you to leave, since you aren't interested in actually participating and adapting these ideas into your life over a longer period of time. I'm not being rude mind you, only concise and direct. Understand that we have to put up with a lot of nonsense from a lot of places on reddit. We see a lot of things that could be changed for the better in terms of male and female behavior, but no one listens because they're too biased to even try.

A lot of people are under the delusion that they would immediately recognize a RP man or a RP relationship, when really, they wouldn't. Our relationships do not function in the horrific and oppressive ways that they imagine. However, that doesn't stop them from labeling every bad relationship with a genuinely horrid cast all around as 'Red Pill.'

Please move along, this sub doesn't sound like it's for you and that's fine. Consider coming back again when you start to wonder if your way of doing things is really all that great.
