No one would argue (including me) that REAL forced sex on a prostitute (Sex Trafficking) is bad and should be outlawed. I would hate any man who did this -- It gives men a bad name, and he should go to jail for many years.

But, the fact of the matter is it is extremely rare. Sex trafficking in the USA is very rare. It is a myth created by anti-sex trafficking groups who want to abolish consenting adult sex work, and the abolition of loose adult women having sex with men for free - which the anti-sex trafficking groups really hate. We have been hearing about massive child sex trafficking in the USA for about 15 years, yet still there is no evidence of this huge underground child sex slave empire. Where are the millions of kidnapped, forced, beaten, raped, chained up child prostitute victims? There is only one remedy offered by the anti-trafficking (actually anti-sex work) activists: Imprison the male clients of adult consenting sex work. How will that help all those children supposedly already enslaved? This is further (practically conclusive) evidence that the real goal of the "anti-trafficking" activists is the abolition of all consenting adult sex work, and of loose adult women having sex with men PERIOD. And to get huge government grants and donations into their organizations to pay their huge salaries. (Billions of dollars worth)These anti-sex trafficking groups would imprison any adult women (and men) having free sex with a lot of people in their town. If they could get away with it. Prostitution is not the issue. Having sex is the issue. They don’t like the IDEA of man having sex with a adult woman. PERIOD.

We all agree that underage prostitution is bad, since this is an adult activity. This needs to be stopped. Only adults should engage in sex. We all agree on that. However, are all underage prostitutes forced and raped? crying, kicking and screaming while being forced, beaten, against their will to have sex for money?

Throughout the world, the small rare amount of sex trafficking convictions are mostly those that were of minors since minors cannot legally consent to sex. They weren't forced – they just could not consent legally to sex. If a prostitute is 17 and under the age of 18, she can not give legal consent to have sex. So, she could have wanted to be a prostitute, and given consent for sex, but since she is underage, she can not give legal consent, so legally she was “forced” even if she gives total consent to sex and it was consensual - she was “forced” according to the court and justice system. There is a BIG difference between being legally “forced” and truly being physically forced against someone’s will. It is easy to get a conviction in this case since all they have to prove is that they were underage. –They don’t need to prove that they were forced.

This gives the impression that all prostitutes under the age of 18 are “forced” when they may in fact, not have been. If fact, if two people who are both 17 years old have sex, they both are legally considered to be victims and sex predators at the same time. It is strange how the justice system works.
