his behavior as described here doesn't seem sexist - it looks like he's a bit angry - and afraid - of everybody. Not a misogynist. a paranoid.

and you never really know how zoo animals are treated by zookeepers and cage-cleaners. You do know they're teased by ignorant zoo customers.
