Not quite.

The heteronormative society just refers to the fact, that whithin our society and culture everything is viewed through the lense of heterosexual relationships. So whenever you ask a man about what he likes in a partner, it's implied and expected that his partner is a woman. So in other words: Being heterosexual is the norm.

If we instead lived in a homonormative society, everyone would assume that people were homosexuals instead. When a man is asked if he has a partner, and he says yes - then the audience (Or just everyone) will automatically assume that he's a homosexual and has a man for a partner.

So I hope that cleared it up for you. Also, the words describe society and culture, not individuals.
