So this is a throwaway/crosspost.

I've been going through everything i can find and never realized that the entire restraining order system is part of a parallel court to the one heterosexual males can appeal to during disputes, i don't know how i didn't see that before.

anyway, any advice would be great, or just a suggestion on a relevant direction here.

pretty discouraged in my prospects of either living with a dude who quite possibly might randomly bludgeon me or leaving where i'm at, at this point i feel like i was lied to by the officer, or he was extremely disingenuous, should have gone forward at the time with assault charges, feel like an idiot/that's what i get for being naive/sympathetic of others.
