Why do I get the feeling that the "crime" cost part only counts juveniles and stops being counted once they become an adult?

I bet it's higher, if we did some paternity testing.

One in six adults now co-habits, compared with one in 50 in the 1960s. Co-habiting households, which have doubled in number since 1996, are the fastest-growing type of family arrangement in the UK.

Hope the government gets the message about shitty marriage laws, rather than creating new laws that treats cohabiting couples as married after a certain time. Who am I kidding, we'll soon see people living alone, and your "girlfriend" will be your neighbor if you're lucky. 20 years after that, she'll be a "fuck buddy" and 20 years after that if our society still exists and people don't get it, we'll just stop having relationships. I guess it wasn't the gays who destroyed the sanctity of marriage after all.

Isn't this kind of anti men's rights? I have seen a lot of MRAs who believe that men should be able to sign away rights to children if they don't want be father's.
