Trying to assess how to handle this. I've been working on not getting so butthurt by girls doing things I don't like (including rejecting me), and it's been going quite well. I've gotten much better at tipping my hat and accepting their choice, rather than feeling a need to argue.
But recently, I was rejected by a girl who I asked on a date. She didn't say no, just took a couple hours to reply then skirted around the question. I made a joke about her rejecting me just to put it out there. Read a similar approach in another post and adapted it.
She then sent me a wall of text about a party she's at, to which I just gave a courteous "Sounds fun :)". Learning from the past and NOT acting annoyed (complain or silence treatment), but not giving her additional attention at my expense.
So when do you drop the conversation and stop replying? Or do you just give a few generic replies so she gets the idea? Again, trying not to look butthurt, but also not trying to be a BP and keep wasting my time talking.
Total alternative: friend her and try to get her to set me up with her friends.
