One of two things are true:

Men and women are identical except for their naughty bits, in which case having women on the board is of no use to the business.
Women are fundamentally different. They have the "women's way of knowing" or whatever, and bring some unique point of view. In which case, their differences may cause them to under perform - so having mostly men on the board makes sense.

It's almost like the feminists can't do logic ...

Who gives a toss what the "Philippine central bank’s female deputy in charge of supervising the nation’s lenders...." says, regardless of gender. Its a bit like the Ethiopian Health minister lecturing the world on healthy eating.

The article tackles a woman supervisor encouraging more women to be included in bank firms in the Philippines and Asia in general for "diversity" and women tend to be "more intuitive, patient, and has more attention to details".

It also tackles the percentage of women in the parliament. It also mentions Dutertes controversial comment about shooting female communist rebels in the vagina which IS misognyst as well as the political suppression of critics of the drug war. But imo they are not cracked down for being female but for their dissent.
