She was doing exactly what he was describing.

You see in 10 seconds in the matter she is already testing, all a woman do is test the hierarchy of the man in front of her. She don't care about the matter. And the way they perceive hierarchycal value is that the man has some agression in him. Some woman are so primitive that they will push until phisical agression happens.

When she asks: "Who should control woman?" She is subconsciously agreeing that she should be controled. Peterson should joke smirking: "I... should." And then go back to the matter.

That is the war of the genders today, man trying to humanize woman, and woman trying to push man to his primitive ways.
