I used to think feminism was fine, I mean, I was raised with the golden rule: treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. Now I won't pretend I haven't done shitty things to men and women alike, but because I'm a straight white male, I am seen as an oppressor in society. My achievements are just my privilege. My hardships are unrecognized because of my opportunities. I won't make excuses for other men and what these feminists claim they've been through, but don't try to shape my self-perception. Attacking my race, sexuality and gender is not going to make me sympathetic. It makes you look hypocritical and short sighted. You want equality and think men are trash? Good. You got it because you're trash too.
