I'm seeing more and more of this: feminists using "mansplaining" accusations to deal with being publicly proven wrong

Female BBC manager publicly declines promotion over pay inequality | After she threw a public tantrum, it's revealed that the male manager had several years more experience than her, justifying the difference in pay. The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them!

Imagine the outrage & hysteria if an article like this was written about women: "So thirsty I could drink the pool"

Yes they are, but us "toxic" men can put up with it, treating our partners better than they deserve

Yes and no. It's actually more than half.

I don't hold much faith in research conducted via market research / surveys (my old job).

  1. the staff employed to ask the questions usually have little to no understanding of the topic & therefore can misinterpret both the questions & answers.

  2. In order to get people to take part there is usually a financial incentive, this can sqew results because those not applicable continue regardless for the incentives

  3. Respondents often lie, either by embellishing the truth or flat out lying in order to "qualify"

  4. Lack of open ended questions can often lead to people selecting a different answer to the truth because the options are only multiple choice on occasion

Ultimately, this type of research needs to be at least attached to official police figures in relation to, reports/arrests & convictions

I'd argue it's even higher, but men just tend to keep it to themselves to uphold the "be a man" mentality

Going by the new broadened definitions, I'd say a significant majority are men.
