My post is to ask legal advice on ownership of one of my assets. I have a small Limited company. Essentially I am a freelance but operate from within a company structure. My earnings are volatile, so I build up money in my business bank account to last me through the lean times. I'm about to go to mediation. Is my wife entitled to half of the assets of the company?

I feel morally obliged to give her half the house, pension and savings, but with the business it would put me in a very bad situation if a court decided to divide what is in the company bank account. If this was the case I'd prefer to spend some of that money, on marketing for example, or buying new equipment. Or would that be perceived as sheltering assets?
