Gearslutz.com is probably the most popular and the best known pro audio forum.The name of the forum in a homorous way represents the lust for audio equipment that most of their users have.

After 17 years some feminists/PC police feel offended by the name and made a petition to change it. Considering that the traditional web forums are already in a decline, a name change could mean the end of this community.
