Well you can start by telling her than men did not have the right to vote when the women did either. Women not voting was never a gendered issue and certainly was not solved by the suffragettes like they claim. The suffragettes were terrorists.

People pushed for the right for non landholders to vote and won. Before that only rich landowners could vote. Men and women could not if they did not own land.

International men’s day is a valid holiday and is on November 19th. Try to get some of your friends together and put out a little booth at your school to bring to light a lot of the men’s issues we are facing in this modern world.

Don’t compare yourself to females and don’t drag them down. Lift both of y’all up, fight for both. Image if you set up a booth to talk about important men’s issues and all the girls would talk about is girl problems. It would be annoying.

International women’s day is a valid holiday. It should be celebrated without people trying to take attention away from the celebrations.

You should always criticize things you have issues with. But more importantly employ critical thinking and be willing to criticize yourself the most. If you can’t challenge your own ideas, they aren’t good ideas to have. The more you challenge your ideas the easier it is to find more correct ones or the stronger it makes the existing ideas you already have. Stay strong, get stronger :)
