I don't ttink this could be big enough for an hr visit. Just talk to him in a friendly manner telling him you did not like what he did to you. If he's still adamant and doesn't budge, then maybe an H.R visit would be in order

That is what I did. Initially I told him he didn’t need to grab me and he said nothing. Later I told him I don’t like people grabbing me like that. He responded I had issues.

I agree, but I will warn you that there are quite some people here who hold different opinions on stuff like this and what does or does not constitute a men's issue. Unfortunately, boys are never allowed to experience what bodily autonomy and being allowed to say "no" feels like, so I can see how some develop issues with this over time that result in their dismissal of others whishes regarding their bodies aswell - that's just something that came to mind, don't quote me on that. I think you would usually gain more support in r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates for posts like these, though.

Not looking for upvotes or personal support, looking out for those with similar issues that don’t feel empowered to take a stand.

Exactly. No one does this. I've never seen this in over 30 years in the workplace. Someone who grabs other employees uninvited has Very Serious Issues™

he told me I had issues and problems for saying that.
He's blaming you because he doesn't want to admit he made a mistake. He is the one with the problem, not you.
I agree, I have reported the incident.

Just drawing attention to the fact that men can still feel physically harassed, something I think is downplayed in today’s environment.

In what way does this cross the line into harassment?
Unprofessional maybe, unwanted certainly. But it isn't something that's been repeated, nor sexual in nature nor is it something that makes you feel like you'll lose your job for asking for it to stop.
This isn't a mens rights issue. This is an individual asking another individual to respect personal boundry. That's a right you most certainly have.
Him saying you have issues is a matter of perception.
I think this mentality is why I make this post. Do I feel like this will escalate if I report it? Yes. Is this me feeling like as a man my asking to respect rights is being taken less seriously by others? Yes. That is the point I’m trying to make.
