Close friend just posted this on his story. The guy has been visiting therapist and taking antidepressants for two years due to an abusive female friend's verbal attacks over course of a few years .

this just plays into the "men can't be raped" thing. And it infuriates me.

If a guy looks at a woman im the wrong way he gets accused of abuse. But a woman can full on rape and/or punch a man and nobody will bat an eye.

I had somebody play the victim. Tell me my friend tried to rape her. She played out this whole come save me scenario to me on myspace messages, where we messaged back n forth. I took the bait, cut off my friend and started talking to this girl romantically for maybe 2 weeks. It becomes apparent she’s only playing games as far as dating goes, so I stop putting energy into that situation. WHATS FUCKED UP IS I FIND OUT LIKE 10 YEARS LATER SHE TOLD PEOPLE THE EXACT SAME STORY ABOUT ME, THAT SHE TOLD ME THAT DAY ABOUT MY FRIEND. I learned this almost 10 years later from somebody that is like my lil sister. She told me she never believed it so she never brought it up to me. But that “X” had been said about me to basically everybody we knew. To which I ran to A LOT of people and confirmed they all heard it. FUUUCK ME WTF is that bullshit and how are people so nonchalant about the ruining of somebodies life(because somebody is throwing some kind of tantrum for attention)that’s REALLY deeply tapped into their hatred specifically for men!

At present, Yes. Although that is slowly changing.
