I mean both mindsets are toxic . If you can't date someone for who they are and not for what they look like then you really shouldn't date . Because at the end of the day none of really matters when you die . Cause i don't wanna be remembered for my looks i wanna be remembered for what i did and what type of person i was. And heres the thing about it , when yall are all old and gray with saggy bodies do you want someone you can be old and gray with or someone who wants to stay in what society beauty standards and is more vain because of it ? Ive been with short guys , chubby guys , very skinny guys , tall guys and currently engaged to a guy who has a dad body. And honestly i love being with him , hes not what society views as handsome but to me hes my best friend, my lover , hes my rock . But if i didn't give him a chance , because i did want to wait , and if i wasn't in the hospital i would have never known he was my soulmate .
