As a human being I believe that the color of your skin, genitals, and any other physical feature your born with should not decide how successful you can become and how you should be treated. With this in mind I am against any institution or ideology that uplifts a certain group of individuals whilst degrading other related groups. Due to all of the facts I stated prior I believe that Modern Feminism is, at its core, not a movement that desires to progress women towards equality and instead desires to form a society in which women have superior standing and possess greater rights than men. Examples of these ideas which the feminist movement has formed that are directly sexist are #killallmen, "toxic masulinity", and "mansplaning". Just reading these one can easily see that they are more focused on degrading men instead of uplifting women and not on any form or equality. That is the major difference between the Women's Rights Movement that occurred within the 20th Century and the current Feminist movement, one has ideals and principles such as Womens Suffrage and the other deals with "issues" like "Manspreading" and "Toxic Masculinity". Instead of focusing on what men are doing wrong they should focus on what gaps there are between the rights of men and the rights of women. If yous disagree with any of my statements above or believe that sexism is not the purpose and goal of Modern Feminism I would love to hear why.
