People see what they want to see I guess (meaning people don't want to acknowledge this is being done to boys because it doesn't fit the narratives they want promulgated). My husband told me lots of stories about the man boy love going on over on the Arab military section in Iraq or Afghanistan. (Sorry I don't remember which it was because he was at both--I can ask if it matters.) Those guys literally kept boys that walked around in tiaras. One particular day of the week, I think he said Thursday, there would be a line of moslems lined up outside a room to go have a turn at one of the tiara boys. It was like JoAnn Fabrics during the months of April and May this year--we all stood in line patiently and it was one out, one in.

Yup. I remembered correctly. It was Man Love Thursday as the American military personnel called it. Because on Friday the Moslems had church so they couldn't be f*ckin' boys that day. Cuz you can't be disrespecting Allah and all.

I want to add something. This isn't just in Afghanistan. This same attitude is prevalent throughout all Arab cultures. There is a pervasive attitude among the men that women are unclean. I have discussed this topic with Arab men and I have been told that only the "receiver" who takes the "female role" is considered to be a homosexual. The man who takes the "male role" as they put it is not considered to be homosexual for having sex with another male. You will find this same exact thing in Morocco or Tunisia or Algeria or Kuwait...You name the country. It doesn't matter. It is an Arab Moslem thing. It came along with the Arab men who spread out in waves from Saudi Arabia in the original conquests of Islam.
