Furthermore, "Look at how much we left"; by that logic, it's OK for me to break into a bank vault and rob 50% of the gold, because "look at how much I left".

I really wish these types of women would apply just a little bit of critical thinking to their utterances.

The kind of people you want to ask "what's it feel like to be a fuckin idiot?

I had something similar at an electronic store I used to work at. A lady, and I use that term loosely, came in a purchased an item and on her way out she stole another (we had her on security cam committing the theft). The very next day she came back and returned the item she had purchased. She also returned the item she had stolen! She gave a sob story that it was an accident. The item was on a security hook and she had accidentally broken the hanger on the package and didn't know what to do so she took the item with her. If that story wasn't absurd enough, the item packaging was wrapped in cellophane which was now gone which meant she stole the item, opened it, tried it, didn't like it and brought it back instead of tossing it in a dumpster somewhere.

There's more! While doing the return we have to take the customer's name and phone number. Those two pieces of information are required, however, there are fields for the street address as well. My coworkers who handled the transaction filled in all the fields, name, address and phone number. Before he hit submit to process the transaction through he did a print screen. After the lady left the store my coworker went to the printer in the manager's office took the freshly printed page and handed it to the manager and said here you go. Perplexed the manager asked what it was. My coworker replied that's the name, address and phone number of the lady who stole the item yesterday. She returned the item she had purchased and the item she had stolen. The manager's reaction was "are fucking serious?". The information was forwarded to the police but I honestly don't know what happened other than she received a lengthy ban from the mall where the story was located.
