Hi,

I was recently at a club talking with a girl that I had met there and this guy comes along and starts making moves on this girl I was with. I let the girl handle the situation on her own for a while but then this girl starts making faces about the weirdness of this situation so, I step in and say that this girl was with me. Even though the girl confirmed that, this guy starts to laugh and asks the girl, "are you really with this guy!?!" I completely ignored whatever the guy said, not completely sure if it was right to ignore him. After this whole thing, the girl still ended up sticking around with me but I just want to know if I could have handled the situation in a better way?

How would you guys deal with a situation like this? More specifically how would you respond to the guy, if at all?
