Great (government?) report on the gender gap in primary and secondary education in real schools. in Wales. Plenty of useful info, reasons, examples of schools succesful in closing gap... however, this is 12 years old, why hasn't this been adpoted mroe widely and in other countries?

Here is the report. In summary, for those of you new to topic, perhaps the main reason for boys underperformance in education form pirmary to university acceptance is the literacy gap that forms in primary school.... that affects ability in all non english related subjects, even maths as it requires comprehension. That is the key.

This report is really good... what I dont understand is what happened? Why didnt this garner more attention and spread to other palces?
