Absolutely, that being said, as much as I loathe the creature that is the male feminist there are women who don't necessarily outright call themselves feminists that cling onto feminism as part of their female identity as well or they won't admit it.

This is why when you criticise feminism you will have at least two people or more that try to brigade this sub and claim you're hating women. The identity of feminist overrides their gender and many of these people seriously believe that feminists represent all women when they don't. Certainly the male simps that creep on feminists constantly are a big issue but I think the biggest real problem is just the public generally who cling to this archaic and ignorant view of what feminism is versus what feminists are actually like in real life.

You can see it in their rhetoric and how they approach people who disagree with them. They immediately make assumptions about you that they can't back up with evidence while we can. I bring this up because even though male feminists are a big problem the power that feminism has comes from the mob of idiots who have been tricked into thinking it's an equality movement and repeat their rhetoric without knowing what they're doing.

Male feminists are gender traitors and certainly ARE a problem, but not the problem. Feminism is the problem. It teaches its proponents to hate on, demonize and minimize men.

While I don't know why anyone of the male gender would want to be a part of that self-hating garbage, they are just useful idiots, feminism is the REAL problem here.

Its not just male feminists, but male chivalry in general which enables Toxic Feminism. Tradcon-Rightist types are also complicit in chivalry.

Not to mention, an important thing needs to be mentioned here. I know people don't like the phrase "toxic masculinity" but here is a gender expectation which society forces on men: "men must compete with each other to prove themselves the best man."

This competition undermines male solidarity and creates a situation where men will throw their fellow men under the bus for merely the possibility of women's approval (even if that approval doesn't come with sex). This gender norm, forced upon us at least in part by society (it is also at least plausibly contributed to by biology), makes men act in ways that damage their fellow men.

I'd consider that Toxic Masculinity (despite the fact that term is widely disliked). The feminists don't because they like when men compete against each other to rescue m'lady.
