I wrote here over one year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/9h3ft5/my_short_story_of_always_being_overlooked_and_now/
And have since then made a lot of changes.
I moved to a new town, a full days drive away from where I used to live. I changed my job, and I am now working in an industry with almost only men working there. My clients are men as well. So as someone suggested in the other post, it might be an issue with working with women because now I get a lot of praise for the work I do. There are some women at the company, but they are in support functions and I believe the work relationship is more conservative with them being administrators and so on. Which means I get to actually be in charge, which feels more natural and I can actually get things done without being "cock-blocked" by female bosses whom do not know what to do.
On the topic of being blocked, I did have one small incident with a upper-level manager. But I went and talked to him for 2 minutes and we could sort it out fast. With female bosses it was always issues and impossible to work out a good deal.
Sadly I have not managed to convince the court yet that my kids should live with me, but I hope I will be able to make a deal there so my kids get to live with me in my house instead of in a cramped apartment with a mother who is not that interested in taking care of them.
I still feel alone a lot and sometimes lonely, but thanks to a local mason group I do have people that I meet in a social setting sometimes. So I still feel sometimes that I do not know what to do, and have no energy to improve, but it is less times than it used to be and I try to focus on the present and what kind of future I want to have. So I guess what I am trying to say is; hang in there, you can make improvements!
