Up to recent time, Reddit was one of main centers of the Manosphere. “Data-Driven Sketch of the Manosphere” presented statistics on several Manosphere subreddits – r/MensRights with 4.5 million posts, r/MGTOW with 3.7 million posts (quarantined), r/TheRedPill with 3.0 million posts (quarantined), r/askTRP with 1.7 million posts. Out of four major Manosphere subreddits, two are effectively banned. Other Manosphere subreddits have fewer than a million posts total. Some of them may be banned as well.

Many members of r/TheRedPill knew that censorship is coming from a thread in 2014. They tried to relocate to an uncensored forum, but it became inactive. We do not know if there will be a MGTOW forum as active as r/MGTOW. As for Mens Rights, AVFM forum has only 211,000 posts over seven years. Can the activity on that forum be revived?

For the last 30 years the Cultural Narrative has portrayed men as Morally Inferior Privileged Oppressors. As a result severe discrimination against men became acceptable: men accused of Sexual Misconduct are presumed guilty, male victims of abuse are generally arrested rather then helped, men receive 63% longer prison sentences for the same crime. Many men view themselves as innately bad and unworthy of fairness or compassion. The Manosphere has been an oasis in the Desert of Cultural Misandry. The Manosphere helped men understand that they do suffer severe injustices in Modern Society. The Manosphere taught many men that they are Humans equal to Women. Likely, the Manosphere had saved thousands of men from suicide. The existence of Manosphere has also educated the public about some of issues facing men. For instance, most people are much more sympathetic toward male victims of DV then they were two decades ago. Johnny Depp faces wide support. When David Gest had proof that he was severely abused in 2003, he faced wide derision.

Of course, many branches of the Manosphere do have severe faults. These branches still play a positive role of opposing the prevailing cultural Misandry. We disagree with negative generalizations about women coming from some branches of the Manosphere. Nevertheless, if Misandrists have a voice, so should they. The worst form of sexism combines prejudice and power. Misandrist narrative has enormous power in Modern Western Society. Misogynists are rejected by Society and have zero influence.
