Odd how feminism conveniently forget that previous to 1963, married men were paid more for doing the exact same job, as a single man.

Married couples got a tax rebate and bachelors were taxed heavier.

could you imagine from the time you are a child, a game company telling you that you are so incapable of fending for yourself that you need the advantage to just automatically start with more privilege because you are too weak to contend otherwise? How on earth could they think this is going to help women grow up to become “strong and self-made”?

I work in a group home for the mentally handicapped. This game was played by my coworkers, (both women) and one of the residents, (also a woman). I was invited to play but declined as the resident I was assigned for the shift had threatened to elope (run away) so I was sitting outside her room. Anyway as they were reading the rules they got to the women get more for passing go part and didn't understand it. So I had to explain the wage gap myth to them. At first they didn't believe me and looked it up. Found a lot of propaganda stating its validity and tried to foist it on me. When I directed them to actual, unbiased statistics they shut up lol.
