No, you can't just choose not to sign an NDA, it's part of the deal. Depending on context of course. You can be required to sign an NDA as a condition of employment for example. Or if a lawsuit is settled, they say we will give you this amount of money, if you sign a NDA. I mean, it is a "choice" of course, but it's often a bad choice. You don't get what you want without signing it.

Those chicks are out of their minds. Settlements in that context are hush money. If they don't get the hush, they won't get their money without a fight lol. There is no way lawyers would take a settlement deal that doesn't include a NDA, it makes zero sense.

Fucking stupid. Every NDA I ever signed had to do with work product and related disputes. Unless these ladies job is getting banged by Roger, then they can complain all they want.
