What I don’t understand is that saying “I don’t want you to see me as an authority figure” sounds like an acknowledgement that they are an authority figure. There’s a difference between that and being in denial or ignorant of your power over someone which is what I think feminists are actually doing.

That's a common story for any authoritarian government - they really go out of their way to pretend they don't have all the power they have. For example, in the USSR (especially in the early period) the prefix "People's" was applied to many structures that were firmly controlled by the state but pretended to have some agency of their own. The first-instance courts were "people's courts", the regimes the USSR created in subjugated nations were "people's republics", the ministries were "people's comissariates".

So I guess the feminists don't lack ambition at all.

Well...pretty much. Everytime a woman or feminist(like Justin Trudeau) does something that is blatantly unequal, sexist or downright shitty, theres always an excuse.

This whole thing about Katie Hill is a good example: Man does something wrong, massive scandal, he did bad! She does something bad, its sexism and patriarchy!

Own your shit, these people need to stop acting perfect when they are anything but.
