But it's disingenuous to not acknowledge that what is in use as of recently is also a different definition of "sexism," which is drastically broader than its former, long-held definition. It used to mean you weren’t treating one sex fairly based on their sex. Now it also means you said something that included sex and another person didn’t like how they felt about what you said.
