convicted of sex crime - even if deferred adjudication - permanently listed as felony on record.
ten years probation
at least 300 hours community service. as no one wants a sex offender doing service for them, sex offenders end up on road crews.
fines totaling (+)$15,000 over time
administrative costs totaling +$15,000 over time
court costs, lawyers fees - +$thousands.
annual jail time (increments of the total sentence) or consecutive jail time - +60 days (min)
completion of a two year course administrated by a sex therapist - (+$100 a session - out of pocket )
not allowed to interact with other sex offenders other than group therapy sessions.
not allowed to interact with any felons, knowingly or unknowingly.
not allowed normal adult entertainment (going to clubs/bars, music venues, ...)
not allowed to be in the company of children, even your own, without an approved chaperone.
not allowed to travel outside of town without specific travel orders issued by the probation officer, and only for good reason.
monthly visits by probation to home where they're allowed to search the home without warrant, without cause
no internet access allowed - and monitored - no social media interaction allowed
not allowed near any school or where children might congregate - criminal offense if ignored - this includes churches
possible door to door warning neighbors of sex offender status.
possible yard signage warning neighbors of a sex offender in your home.
mandatory monthly meeting with probation officer - may have to pay for monthly drug testing.
lifetime placement on a public sex offender registry online (which becomes ALL sex offender registries) - with no way of removing yourself regardless of circumstances.
usual loss of home, family, job and friends.

If the above are good enough for men, why aren't they good enough for women? Where's all this "equal rights" shit I keep hearing about?

If you're going to ask me something stupid like "how do you know this?" - I watched someone very close to me go through this shit for less than that woman did to that boy.
