Okay. Even though I am all for Abortion (let chicks get an abortion if they want it!) I still feel like, in a situation where they are in a relationship and their partner is the father, they should come to some sort of agreement. It shouldn't get to this point.

in my opinion, if just one of the parents isnt ready for a child, the right thing to do for their (possible) future children is to get an abortion. noone wants to be an unwanted child, so be fair towards your own children and only give birth to those that are wanted by both. and i do mean this seriously and strictly.

if the mom (to be) doesnt want the child, the father (to be) should respect that wish. the opposite is also true, if the man doesnt want fo become a father, the woman should be fair towards him and their child/fetus and get an abortion. and this also holds truth with other things like what sex your child has, if you‘re even the father, maybe if the fetus has a severe genetic disease and so on. if one of the two doesnt feel ready to take care of another human being, be that because they do not wish to bring up a child of a certain gender, or because they feel too much stress and pressure from having a sick child, they must do the right thing and end the pregnancy right there.

obviously, condoms and the pill are better, but sometimes you fuck up.

as some insight, my wife is first of all deathly afraid of having a sick child. she is very short herself and was born not only with a heart problem, but also had cysts in her reproductive system. so, clearly, if she doesnt feel ready for a sick child, end of story. i guess i wont become a father, then. if prenatal medical checks vastly improve, this issue could be fixed. but what about her additional health problems? she would definitely have a much higher risk with a pregnancy, so she really doesnt want to. personally, i think all women have a great chance of giving birth to perfectly healthy children, especially after all the stories and cases i‘ve read about women surviving crazy stuff and then giving birth as if it was nothing. but her wish here must be respected. lastly, she told me she would never want to have a girl, because of how much pain and suffering women have fo go through in their lives and she doesnt want to have her own child have to suffer through this. not being a woman myself, i cant confirm or deny this out of first hand experience, but i dont think this is a common opinion, so she must be „wrong“ about this one and i just need to be on her side all the more. that said, if she suddenly changed her mind on the other point, we could have an easy time checking if the fetus is male or female and then go from there. personally, i have always wanted girls more than boys, but a boy would also be neat. i‘d love to have kids one day but i dont want my future child growing up with a sad or psychicly strained mother or something. i want my child/children to grow up in a happy family that can look out for them and give them everything they need, especially love. if i cannot guarantee this absolute minimum that in my opinion every parent should, then me and my wife shouldnt become parents yet. i love my wife with all my heart and i want our family to be the happiest and having a conflict about abortions and children and what not is a bad way of starting a family. two adults can always seperate or even divorce, but if there‘s a child, then this child will always have the worst of it.

so i guess for now all i can do is grow plants and take care of kittehs and my wife, that‘s as close as i‘ll ever get to having the feeling of watching my child grow, loving it and being loved back and in general, looking after something much smaller and weaker than me, something so innocent that having it spoilt would break my heart.

She doesn't want to have a baby man, I'm sorry. She's ultimately the one to have to deal with having a fetus inside her, would have to give birth to it, and should be able to decide if she wants to deal with that.
