Question arises, do the cops also try to prevent release of material to the public when the genders are swapped?

I wonder if the cops and prosecution really tried hard enough to investigate/prosecute her for murder since there wasn’t any evidence of self defence.

What was the ‘unique aspects’ of the case I wonder?
