There was a man totally unready and insufficient for the job of leader of a powerful country. He was emotionally weak, constantly made 'red lines', which he completely changed days or weeks later. He was a laughing stock for his political peers in Continental Europe and around the world. Foreign leaders literally impersonated his indecisiveness and weakness to much laughter. He clung to power despite overwhelming lack of support and failure to discharge his duties to his country. He presided over his party, which had won the previous election, falling into single digit popularity while a brand-new party took its share of the vote.

But nobody removed him from power for months and months and months because we all know that would be sexist. After all, he was a MALE Prime Minister, and that HAD to be a good thing. Some people suggested he be removed, but a loud chorus of men, such as academics, who were in well-paid publically funded jobs themselves, cried that such suggestions were very sexist. They said, in effect, that it was sexist to remove a man from a position of high office for any reason.

Finally the country this man ran became so politically disordered - and this man's political party so close to destruction as a major political force - that this man's party, after months of his failure, were able to force this man to stand down. This man then stood out the front of his official residence and went on national television. While his country faced serious problems, like foreign Western European meddling seeking to cause its regions to succeed into separate states, and economic recession, this man played the gender card - 'I certainly won't be the last man in this job!' he said, as if his gender itself was a success, despite all the failure all around him.

And amazingly, no one in the media laughed at him, mocked him, or called him a 'weak man', a 'wimp', or a 'loser'. No called for him to be investigated for whatever trumped-up crime they could find to get revenge on him for failing the country so badly. The newspapers all gave him respectful coverage, without any application of responsibility for the rage that was seething around the country.
