There have been some threads on here about the double standard of how young women are treated when they choose to date or hook up with older guys compared to the opposite, with young men, who date or hook up with older women.
Young men are not considered children by older men and women for it and I wonder if this is just a double standard held by older people, or if there is truth to it? Can young men in their early 20s handle dating and hooking up psychologically better than younger women can, hence why society makes younger women out to be more children-like, because they cannot handle it as well compared to men perhaps?
Or is there no truth in that at all, and it is a complete double standard?
