In texas, Husband receives inheritance (gift) of land from his grandma while married to his wife and a few years later they decide to build a house on the land, couple years later they divorce, land is separate property but house is community property, what happens in this situation with dividing property, and if the husband decides to play hard ball, does the wife have options for receiving her equity in the house?
