can delete if this is the wrong sub, there’s always the men’s mental health sub.

Since I was a teen i’ve read bad things about men and since then I always feel I have to make myself come off timid, as if I can’t walk confidently or i’ll be seen as a toxic man. I’m always told by my GF that men suck and are assholes and how woman can’t do this or that, but all my friends are lonely depressed and full of anxiety. My girlfriend and her friends are always out having fun so i don’t know. Ive felt bad for years and didn’t know why but i’ve been trying to be more aware. it can be person by person but it seems like men are more depressed, suicidal and have mental problems and are ignored easier. a lot of us had our foreskins removed, where is the his body his choice movement? I hate that society doesn’t like masculinity, it’s not hard to be ‘non toxic’ and masculine..and we hear about divine feminine, what about divine masculine (i don’t know what that really means honestly), but when society robs us of our masculinity it creates weak men that turn into incels and become real woman haters. Men’s testosterone is at an all time low and it’s dehumanizing to see. I know for a fact not all men are bad, the majority of men in my life, being mostly coworkers, are some of the best life changing people I have met. Ive felt okay in my body but there’s always something down there telling me I need to be super fit and fit some sort of beauty standard and sometimes on my bad days it can beat you down and that’s when mental health declines. I’ve always tried to do things like keep my distance or do this or that to make woman comfortable because up until awhile ago I always thought that all men were shit and toxic, like I was tricked and now i’m finding that it isn’t true and I don’t need to feel bad for nothing. It’s sad too that even a lot of men seem to hate other men for no reason.

my bad..my first time in this sub, and my formatting is bad. my thoughts are becoming more clear since I started medication and quit smoking and I want to feel okay as a masculine man.
