I know a lot of our content lately has been focusing on the negative or BP demonstrated by our media and society. Particularly recent post about the Plight of Boys by GLO made me think of a rare gem of pro-masculine encouragement shown to us in the media.
This Visa commercial is a good demonstration of what young boys need. Activity, encouragement, comradery, and a challenge.

Of course the mother thinks the coach yelling is too much, and sure the father didn't have the balls to stand up to her. In a society where a kid is suspended from school for making a hand-gun why should we expect any different? End result though the coach was doing his job well by inspiring and leading these kids and showed that he appreciated their hard work.

I don't often pay much attention to media though I would like to see more positive demonstrations of masculinity, a more widespread acceptance of it too. It is far fetched, but I can appreciate the few example out there.
