Is it just me or do you guys get random lucky days?

By that, I mean, life just feels good. Today I was shopping and I got IOI's left right and centre. Nothing was different about me, and my mood was still the same as any other day. I also went to krispy kremes and was talking to the cashier, and she never made me pay for the donuts. I literally got handed free food. Is that common?
