I have a lot of free time currently. I'm trying to learn the basics of playing guitar and a new language but I feel like I could do more.

We started the very basics of Python programming, found it pretty fun. We'll have a course in the middle of March. Should I use resources like https://www.codecademy.com/ or YT to gain an upper hand? I guess this could result in me not having to go to lectures as much/easier assignments => more free time later.
