The NSW police (Australian state) released a press release about them tackling domestic and family violence in which the deputy commissioner said:
14 women have lost their lives in NSW in the past year as a result of domestic and family violence.
And did not mention that in the same time 13 men lost their lives in nsw as a result of domestic and family violence.
PDF of chart and stats, some counting required (actually might need a different chart since the same count there says 9 women and 13 men, but I did see a post here numbers were 14&13 or 14&15) (couldn't find it again)
Whatever the exact stats are they chose to highlight how many female victims there were and ignore male victims entirely. Why do that?
